Genesis of Algonquin presents the 2027 Genesis G70 in seven trims, each powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder rated at 300 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque. Brembo brakes, staggered 19-inch wheels, a 10.25-inch touchscreen and Highway Driving Assist are standard on every one of them.
All-wheel drive, a welcome choice for Chicagoland winters, is available in place of rear-wheel drive on the 2.5T, Sport Advanced and Sport Prestige. Under the hood of every 2027 Genesis G70 sits the 2.5T, a 2,497 cc turbocharged inline four. Rated on premium fuel, it produces 300 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and a torque peak of 311 lb-ft held from 1,650 to 4,000 rpm. A standard 8-speed automatic adds shift-by-wire control, rev-matching and steering-wheel paddle shifters.
Every all-wheel-drive G70, the Prestige Graphite included, gets Dynamic Torque Vectoring Control. EPA-estimated fuel economy is 21 city/29 highway/24 combined mpg with RWD and 20 city/28 highway/23 combined mpg with AWD. The turning diameter measures 36.3 feet with RWD or 37.7 feet with AWD.

Every Genesis G70 cabin puts the driver behind a perforated leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters and gives each front occupant a heated seat and a separate temperature zone. The Sport Advanced, Sport Prestige and Prestige Graphite heat that wheel and ventilate the front seats; the 2.5T AWD also gets the heated wheel.
